Weight Loss Workout Plan - What I Learned By Watching TV...

Several years ago I was watching one of those prime time teen dramas on television and I saw something that has stuck with me all this time.

I think it's one of the best weightloss workout plan motivators I've ever run across. I don't remember the name of the show or the actors names, but I clearly remember THIS!

One of the teens was an athlete. He played on the high school football team as I recall. It may have been basketball. Anyway...one scene showed him in bed, sound asleep (getting enough sleep is important to weight loss too - but that's a discussion for another day) and the alarm went off.

Most of us hit the snooze button over and over, but not him! He reached out (with his eyes closed - apparently he doesn't like getting up any more than you do) fumbled around a few seconds until he found the switch to turn the alarm off.

Not too earth shaking so far...but it gets better.

Then he rolled out of bed. I don't mean that as a figure of speech! He literally rolled off the bed! He landed on the floor in your basic push-up position, and cranked off ten quick push-ups!

What a terrific way to get your heart pumping and get the day started! Try it! You'll like it!

Be careful about rolling off the bed. You don't want to get injured. If you just get out of bed and get down on the floor, that's ok.

I know you don't like to exercise. I don't either. The more you think about it, the worse it gets. It becomes the dreaded elephant in the room that no one will acknowledge. The more we think about it, the more we delay and the more likely we will skip our weight loss workout plan altogether.

Act like this kid and just do it - automatically - without any thought! Roll out of bed and charge through your weight loss workout plan - as just another part of your daily morning ritual.

Once you've done your quick 10 push-ups, add in some crunches...then add in some...well, you know the rest.

Before you know it, the dreaded daily routine will be over and you can spend the rest of the day energized and that much healthier.
